2 out of 5 stars So, so.   August 9, 2008
I like the clean edge cards. The only thing I don't like doing, and I've had to do this on other busincess card paper, was to trim the edges with a cutter. Every time. The calibration didn't work for me and I followed the instructions as written.

If you don't mind having to trim them further, than what you need, either that, or don't use any color near the edges. Because you may get a white strip that has to be cut.

5 out of 5 stars Want that Professional look?   April 20, 2008
This type is a nice simple cardstock look and feel. Very easy to separate and ink dries almost immediately.

There are two other types I've used.

My favorite is similar to 8371 with linen paper instead of the matte style.

The other is inkjet sticker type. I found the card is very simple to remove and separate from the others but they also curl a little at the corners. I'd rather go with the tear away.

5 out of 5 stars Works Great in HP Desk Jet!   September 29, 2007

I have never designed business cards before & I had read another review for Avery cards saying that they don't work in HP Desk Jet ink jet printers. NOT TRUE! I had no problem whatsoever. The print is crisp & clean, the alignment is perfect. I used the template on Microsoft Word. I highly recommend this product. Easy enough for a first timer with professional results!

5 out of 5 stars Just as described   March 16, 2006

Great quality cards. Just one note that you cannot print on the back of these cards. Instead, you peel them off the sheet they are on to give them that "clean edge" look. Great quality, look nice.

5 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted   August 16, 2005

I don't know what printers other people have, so be aware that I have an Epson Stylus Photo 785EPX. These cards work perfectly fine for me, I've never had a problem with alignment or anything like that.

The ink sets immediately, no smearing. The type is crisp like a laser printer. My colors turn out great.

Since this is a matte finish card, there isn't the professional glossy look, but that's what I wanted so I'm fine with that.

It's true these cards are not as thick as the super-professional ones like my husband got from his work, but then again they also paid a great deal more for their cards. For the cost of these, the thickness is fine.

The edges are clean cut. Personally, I can only barely tell there's perforations.

I felt like I got more than my money's worth for these cards. If I wanted a more professional look (like thicker cards, gloss), I'd naturally have to be willing to pay more.

Update (9/05): The newest cards I got were significantly thicker than the older ones I had. They're comparable to other business cards I've been receiving.
