I would have bought this item because Rubber Maid is a good name for storage. Too bad they decided to call it a holiday tree bag and not a Christmas Tree bag. At least they are being PC...I guess. But they lost a sale for it.

Be careful not to let the tree branch edges poke through the bag. We have a seven foot tree that fit into this bag just right.
Poor Quality Christmas Tree Bag February 8, 2008
This bag is not as substantial I thought it would be after reading the description. Before we even completed packing the tree, a tear occurred in a seam. The tree fit the bag, so the tear didn't result from forcing a too big tree into a too small bag, nor did we puncture the bag. Evidently, we received the bag with a weakened area in the seam near the tear.

It took forever getting here. Didn't ship it out as promised, however, I was not disappointed in the product. It took my Christmas tree and several other items, so it's big. Has a zipper and handles. I'm glad I ordered it. Well worth the money!

I would highly recommend this item to anyone interested in a good quality, heavy-duty bag. We will be using this item to store life-size cloth puppets instead of a Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the recommendation stands for whatever use you may put the item to. It is of exceptional quality!
